  1. Contents of PageStream Fonts 1

  4.                 This disc contains a collection of Adobe Type 1 Fonts from
  5.                 various electronic sources. Most of these fonts were
  6.                 originally Macintosh format. They are now converted to IBM
  7.                 Type 1 fonts on an Amiga format disc. In this process, I made
  8.                 use of the conversion utility supplied with AMaxII to write
  9.                 the appropriate font files to Amiga formatted discs. These
  10.                 fonts were then converted to the IBM Type 1 font format using
  11.                 utilities supplied with PageStream2.1. Obviously, the fonts
  12.                 are designed for use with PageStream2.1.
  13.  
  14.                 Please read carefully the requirements of the designers of the
  15.                 fonts supplied, before distributing or making use of these
  16.                 fonts. There is considerable work and expense involved in
  17.                 their production and the requested fees should be paid if
  18.                 you make use of the fonts.

  20. Albatross       Albatross is a text body font with a moderately short x-height.
  21.                 The relative point size is a bit small (i.e. 14 point is
  22.                 closer to what most people would consider 12 point). It
  23.                 contains all the regular characters and many special
  24.                 characters.

  27. Architect       Architect is a font that I whipped out one weekend (version
  28.                 1.0). It simulates hand printing of the type typically done by
  29.                 architects. It was inspired by Adobe's font Tekton. It has a
  30.                 full set of letters, numbers, and punctuation, and quite a few
  31.                 extra characters.

  40. Eire            This font was archived with no documentation.

  42. Genoa           A Type 1 font basically similar to the Venice font that came
  43.                 with the Mac OS. Since Genoa is a display font, it is
  44.                 generally not acceptable for body text. This font includes
  45.                 both Roman and Italic faces.

  48. Muriel          This font was archived with no documentation specific to the
  49.                 font.
  50.                 Author: FontBank, Inc.

  52. Showboat        Showboat is a Type 1 PostScript font in an old nineteenth
  53.                 century marque style. It contains all 26 capital letters,
  54.                 plus rudimentary punctuation.

  57. Sydney          This font was archived with no documentation.

  59. UpperEastSide   Upper East Side is a Type 1 PostScript font in an art deco
  60.                 style that works well in both text and display applications.
  61.                 It contains a full set of characters, including diacritics,
  62.                 and has 477 kerning pairs.It resembles a well-known display
  63.                 font called Parisian.
